TREK FINANCE, BACKED BY AFS

Commercial vehicle finance. Built around the job.

Finance for new, used and pre-registered vans, chassis cabs and eligible specialist conversions. Automotivate coordinates the vehicle, conversion and funding conversation through Trek Finance, backed by direct access to more than 100 funders through the AFS network.

Three routes. One that fits.

Each creates a different balance between monthly cost, ownership and end-of-term responsibility.

Prefer not to own the vehicle at all? Vehicle leasing (Automotivate Leasing) is available as a fourth route, with fixed monthly rentals and the vehicle handed back at the end of the term.

Discuss Finance Lease

Vehicle finance is for the completed working vehicle.

Use this page when your requirement is a van, chassis cab, pickup or completed specialist vehicle. That includes tipper, dropside and traffic-management conversions where the vehicle and eligible conversion cost can be considered together.

Need to fund machinery, tools, plant, materials handling, technology or other non-vehicle equipment? See our asset finance options. If ownership is not part of the plan, our commercial vehicle leasing service may be a better starting point.

Useful answers before you decide.

01Which option is right for my business?+

It depends on whether ownership is essential, the monthly budget you want to protect, your expected replacement cycle and your end-of-term plan. We explain suitable structures side by side.

02What can commercial vehicle finance cover?+

We can discuss funding for new, used and pre-registered commercial vehicles, including vans, chassis cabs and eligible specialist conversions. What can be funded depends on the vehicle, conversion, supplier, funder and your business circumstances.

03Can I finance a used or pre-registered commercial vehicle?+

Often, yes. The available structure and terms depend on the vehicle's age, value, supplier, expected use and your business circumstances. We can discuss suitable options before you commit to the vehicle.

04What does the AFS relationship mean for me?+

AFS has operated since 2005 and gives its network direct access to more than 100 funders, helping Automotivate consider a wider range of suitable funding routes.

05Can you finance a conversion too?+

In many cases, yes. Approval and the eligible amount depend on the vehicle, conversion, funder and your business circumstances.

06Do I own the vehicle at the end?+

Hire Purchase and Lease Purchase normally lead to ownership after all required payments and fees. Finance Lease does not automatically transfer title.

07How quickly could I get a decision?+

Many straightforward proposals receive a decision within 24–48 hours after all required information is supplied. More complex cases can take longer.

08What about VAT and tax?+

Treatment varies by product, vehicle type, use and your circumstances. Confirm the position with your accountant or tax adviser before proceeding.
