02What is the difference between a tipper van and a dropside van?+
A tipper van has a hydraulically operated bed that lifts to tip loose materials such as soil, aggregate or waste directly from the vehicle. A dropside van has fixed, hinged side and rear panels that fold down for loading and unloading palletised or bulky items by hand or forklift. We can specify either as part of a wider conversion, alongside the right chassis, payload and funding.
03Can you source the base vehicle as well as the conversion?+
Yes. We can source a suitable new, used or pre-registered base vehicle for every conversion type we arrange, then coordinate the conversion around one agreed specification.
04Will I need to deal directly with the bodybuilder?+
No. Automotivate acts as your commercial contact throughout the project. We source the base vehicle, recommend the appropriate converter and coordinate the agreed specification, pricing and delivery updates with the supplying dealer and converter.
05Can the conversion cost be included in vehicle finance?+
Vehicle and conversion costs can usually be financed together, subject to funder approval and your business circumstances. We can coordinate the commercial vehicle and finance discussions so the complete requirement is considered together.
06How long does a specialist vehicle conversion take?+
