This policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are, why they are used and how you can change your choices at any time.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include scripts that measure page use or campaign activity without necessarily storing a cookie. They can support essential website functions, remember choices and, where you agree, help measure website use or marketing performance.
2. How consent works
Essential technologies operate on customer-facing production pages. This includes Dynamo Tracking, which records visits attributed to Automotivate emails. Website analytics and marketing-measurement technologies are optional and remain disabled unless you actively consent to the relevant category.
Website analytics require Analytics consent. Marketing-measurement technologies require Marketing consent. Optional technologies are restricted to the production deployment and do not run on website previews.
3. Cookies and similar technologies we use
Rather than list individual cookie names, which would change every time we add or swap a measurement tool, we describe the categories and the providers currently active in each. All optional categories stay off until you consent, and this list is kept current as our tools change.
4. Analytics technologies
With Analytics consent, optional website-measurement services help us understand how the website is used. They may process page views, referrers, interactions, browser or device characteristics, language and approximate location.
We use Microsoft Clarity to create behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replays from interactions such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Form inputs and dropdown values are masked and are not captured as readable content. Clarity is configured with advertising storage denied and is not connected to Microsoft Ads. We also use Ahrefs Analytics to measure aggregate website traffic.
5. Essential email attribution
Dynamo Tracking records visits attributed to Automotivate email campaigns. It runs only on customer-facing production pages and cannot be switched off through Cookie settings.
6. Marketing measurement and live chat
With Marketing consent, the website may use HubSpot to support proportionate business-to-business marketing activity. HubSpot’s tracking code also provides the live-chat widget. HubSpot remains completely unloaded, and the chat widget remains unavailable, unless Marketing consent is granted.
If you start a chat, HubSpot may also process the messages, qualification answers, name and email address you choose to provide. The chatflow asks for separate consent before you can send this information. The chat widget’s own cookies are not set merely because the widget is displayed; they are controlled by the chatflow’s own consent settings.
7. Managing your choices
Use the Cookie settings button at the bottom of the website to accept, reject or change optional categories at any time. Withdrawing a category stops the relevant optional scripts from loading on the refreshed page. Analytics withdrawal tells Microsoft Clarity to deny analytics and advertising storage and erase its cookies, and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies set for this website. Marketing withdrawal asks HubSpot to revoke tracking-cookie consent, clears chat cookies and removes the chat widget before the page refreshes. Dynamo Tracking remains active as an essential service on customer-facing production pages. You can additionally delete cookies through your browser settings.
