Automotivate Leasing Limited takes a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and expects the same standards throughout its business relationships.
1. Introduction
This policy applies solely to Automotivate Leasing Limited and sets out our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains.
Automotivate Leasing Limited is part of the Trek-Group of companies, a UK-based automotive manufacturing and supply group. Our directly employed staff live and work in the United Kingdom.
We are committed to acting ethically, responsibly and transparently and take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect the same standards from organisations with which we work.
2. Our policies
Our approach is underpinned by:

- Fair treatment of employees and workers
- Transparency in supplier relationships
Concerns or allegations relating to modern slavery or human trafficking will be investigated promptly. Confirmed breaches may result in corrective action, including termination of a business relationship where appropriate.
3. Governance and responsibility
Responsibility for preventing modern slavery within Automotivate Leasing Limited rests with senior management and the Board of Directors. Suspected or actual instances should be reported to senior management, with directors informed of investigation outcomes and actions taken.
This policy is reviewed annually and approved at Board level.

We are committed to:

Employees are paid at or above the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage, as applicable.
5. Supply chains and risk assessment
Our suppliers and business partners primarily include vehicle manufacturers and dealers, Fleet Alliance Limited, finance providers and funders, maintenance and delivery providers, technology suppliers, and professional support services.
We recognise that modern slavery risks can arise at different stages of automotive and service supply chains. We assess risk proportionately by considering the supplier’s sector, geographic operations, goods or services, workforce model, and the scale and duration of the relationship.
6. Due diligence and supplier management
We undertake proportionate due diligence on key suppliers and business partners. This may include:
- Reviewing published modern-slavery statements where applicable
- Considering policies, governance and supply-chain controls
- Seeking assurance that appropriate employment and reporting arrangements are in place
- Maintaining dialogue and reviewing material concerns
Where concerns are identified, we seek to understand and address them and reserve the right to cease trading if appropriate improvements are not made.
7. Training, reporting and protection
Modern-slavery awareness forms part of our employee induction and ongoing awareness activity. Employees are told how to recognise indicators and report concerns.
A person who raises a genuine concern in good faith will not suffer detrimental treatment for doing so. Concerns should be reported to senior management or through the contact details on this page.
8. Effectiveness and continuous improvement
We monitor our approach through supplier reviews, internal reporting and escalation, and annual review of this policy and associated practices.
We will continue to refine our controls as our services, suppliers, guidance and relevant risks evolve.
